Student CHTP Certification
Students studying to be a hospitality professional have the opportunity to get an edge on competition by earning a CHTP designation. This option is available to those enrolled in a degree program with 90 semester hours completed.
Ready to Go
Prepare for the CHTP Student Program
- Request transcripts.
- Request letters of recommendation.
- Complete the Application for Examination and Summary of Earned Points forms.
- Notify the Certification Manager at least 10 business days prior to the date of the exam.
- Return the application items to the Certification Manager.
All application material must be received no later than 10 business days prior to your chosen exam date. The appropriate examination fee must be paid at the time of application. Upon receipt of all the above information, the Certification Manager will advise you no less than two weeks prior to the exam date whether you are eligible to sit for the exam.
